By using this website, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions of Sale and all other applicable provisions.

The purchase of merchandise through the National SPCA (NSPCA) online shop is limited to individuals who can lawfully enter into and form contracts under Irish law. By accessing this website, you agree to use its contents solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.

All text, images, graphics, and other content on this site are the exclusive property of the Dublin Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (DSPCA) trading as the National SPCA (NSPCA), and may not be copied or reproduced without prior written permission.

1. Definitions

"Seller", "we", "us", "our" – refers to the Dublin Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (DSPCA), trading as the National SPCA (NSPCA), an Irish Registered Charity (CHY1047) with offices at DSPCA Campus, Mount Venus Road, Rathfarnham, Dublin, D16 F9C4, Ireland.
"Buyer", "you", "your" – refers to the purchaser of the goods from us.
"Goods" – means the items specified in the Seller’s invoice.
"Contract" – means the agreement between the Seller and Buyer for the sale and purchase of goods incorporating these Terms and Conditions.
"Site" – means the National SPCA (NSPCA) online shop.

2. Purchasing Goods Online

To make a purchase, you must provide accurate personal details including your name, email address, postal address, and payment information. By submitting these details, you confirm that they are correct and that you are authorised to use the provided payment method.

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. An order confirmation email is issued automatically when your order is placed, but this does not constitute acceptance. A binding contract is formed only when we dispatch your order.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order for reasons such as payment authorisation failure, stock unavailability, or suspected fraud.

Purchases from this website are for personal use or as gifts and may not be purchased for resale.

3. Prices

All prices shown on the website are in Euro (€) and include VAT where applicable. Prices are valid at the time an order is placed.

Shipping costs will be displayed prior to payment. Orders shipped outside the EU may incur additional customs duties or taxes, which are the buyer’s responsibility.

4. Payment

Payment must be made in full before goods are dispatched.

We accept major debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard) processed securely through Shopify Payments, which uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption.

We do not store or have access to your full payment card details.

If your payment is not authorised, we are not liable for any delay or non-delivery.

5. Delivery

We deliver throughout Ireland and the UK. Orders are processed Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Please allow up to 10 working days for delivery within Ireland and 14 working days for delivery to the UK.

Deliveries are made via An Post or courier, depending on parcel size. A signature may be required upon receipt. If no one is available, a delivery card will be left for rescheduling.

We will notify you promptly of any delays or stock shortages.

The DSPCA trading as the NSPCA will not be liable for delivery delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as courier issues, weather disruptions, or force majeure.

6. Cancellation, Returns & Exchanges

We hope you are delighted with your purchase. However, if you wish to cancel or return your order, you have 14 days from receipt of goods to contact us.

To initiate a return, email shop@dspca.ie with your order number and reason for return.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

Refunds (excluding shipping fees) will be made to your original payment method within 14 working days of receipt of the returned item.

Exchanges are possible, subject to stock availability, once the returned goods have been inspected.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland.

By placing an order, you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts regarding any disputes arising under or in connection with your purchase.
